Robotics automation

A robot is only as good as its motion: every axis has to move fast, stop exactly and repeat.

RB Automation supplies the motion control and sensors that robot builders and automation integrators use to do this: Rtelligent AC servo drives and motors, integrated low-voltage servo motors, closed-loop and fieldbus stepper systems, and photoelectric and inductive sensors for part detection and homing.

Yes. We supply Rtelligent fieldbus stepper drivers with EtherCAT, the RM500 EtherCAT motion controller and the REC1 EtherCAT coupler.

Use servos for long, fast axes and changing loads. Closed-loop steppers suit shorter, lighter axes at a lower cost. Share the payload, stroke, speed and cycle time and we will recommend one for each axis.

Yes. We supply Rtelligent integrated low-voltage servo motors, which combine the drive and the motor in one unit and save space on the robot and in the panel.

Yes. We design and build PLC control panels with the HMI, drives and wiring for a robotic system. If you build panels in-house, we supply the products separately.
