Dholera is a greenfield industrial city being developed as the Dholera Special Investment Region, about 100 km south-west of Ahmedabad. Much of it is still under construction: trunk roads, water, sewage and effluent treatment works, a large solar park, an airport and the first major manufacturing projects. RB Automation Private Limited, based in Ahmedabad, supplies automation products to the contractors, utility operators and plant builders working there.
We are an authorised Schneider Electric partner and the technical partner of Rtelligent for motion control. Dholera's work is at an early stage, so we cover the whole corridor. We supply PLCs, Citect SCADA, AC drives (VFD), pressure transmitters, level transmitters and flow meters to the utility and infrastructure projects in the Dholera SIR activation area, drives and PLCs to the agro and salt users around Dholera, Dhandhuka and Fedra, and servo and stepper systems, PLCs and drives to the established engineering and packaging units at Bavla, Bagodara and Changodar on the Ahmedabad side.
RB Automation also supplies industrial automation products in Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Botad, Khambhat and Palitana.
At this stage most Dholera demand is for utilities: PLCs and Citect SCADA for pumping and treatment plants, AC drives for pumps and blowers, and pressure and level transmitters and flow meters. As factories come up, machine builders will need servo and stepper systems. Dholera is in our home state, close to Ahmedabad.
