Punjab's demand sits in three clusters. The bicycle, auto part, hosiery and machine units in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Phagwara and Hoshiarpur take stepper motors, stepper drivers, servo motors, servo drives and PLCs; the rolling mills and foundries at Mandi Gobindgarh, Khanna, Batala and Amritsar take AC drives (VFD), HMIs and pressure transmitters; and the pharma, food and engineering plants around Mohali, Derabassi, Rajpura, Patiala and Bathinda take level transmitters, motion control products and control panels.

Jalandhar makes hand tools, sports goods and agricultural implements, Mandi Gobindgarh is steel rolling and furnaces, Mohali runs electronics and engineering, and Batala and Amritsar add foundries and textiles.
