This Baumer pressure transmitter is built for process and energy industries where an intrinsically safe instrument is required. It has a robust stainless steel housing and an intrinsically safe version to LCIE 02 ATEX 6133X. Listed applications include chemical, pneumatic, energy, shipbuilding and industrial gas installations, with an optional Bureau Veritas Marine approval.
Ranges start in millibar, from 0 to 25 mbar up to 0 to 600 mbar, and continue in bar from -1 to 0 bar up to 0 to 600 bar. Both absolute and relative (gauge) pressure types are available. Over pressure and burst ratings scale with the range, for example 800 bar over pressure and 1000 bar burst pressure on the 0 to 600 bar version.
The standard error of measurement (BFSL) is plus or minus 0.3% FSR or better, including non-linearity, hysteresis and non-repeatability, with wider limits for ranges of 1 bar and below and for 600 bar. Long-term stability is 0.2% FSR per year, rise time is 3 ms or less, and the compensated temperature range is -10 to 55°C.
