This Baumer hygienic pressure transmitter measures absolute pressure, relative pressure and vacuum in food, beverage, biotechnology and pharmaceutical processes. It meets 3-A sanitary standards, is FDA-compliant and EHEDG-certified, and has a fully welded, compact design with a flush process connection of surface roughness Ra 0.8 or better for washdowns without residue.
Yes. It is resistant to all common CIP cleaning media and is SIP-capable at up to 150°C for less than 30 minutes. Versions are also available for media temperatures up to 200°C. Active temperature compensation over a compensated range of -40 to 85°C keeps readings stable when temperatures change between production and cleaning cycles.
Measuring ranges run from -1 to 40 bar, with a minimum span of 0.1 bar and a maximum turndown of 5:1. The BFSL error is plus or minus 0.04% or 0.1% FSR depending on version, the temperature coefficient is 0.03% FSR per 10 K or better, and rise time is 5 ms or less. Zero point and span can be set externally with the FlexProgrammer 9701.
