The Economic Series is a Baumer pressure transmitter for general air and gas applications, built around a robust ceramic measuring cell in a compact stainless steel housing, with brass construction also available. It measures relative pressure and vacuum from -1 to 200 bar and is aimed at OEM applications that need a good price-to-performance ratio.
Ranges run from -1...0 bar and 0...1 bar up to 0...200 bar, with a minimum span of 1.0 bar. Over pressure safety scales with range, for example 20 bar over pressure and 30 bar burst pressure on the 0...10 bar version, and 360 bar over pressure with 480 bar burst on 0...200 bar. Standard error is ±0.5% FSR (BFSL) and rise time is 5 ms or less.
The Economic Series suits pneumatics, HVAC, factory automation, energy and agricultural vehicles, wherever air or gas pressure has to be monitored in a compact package. Its compensated temperature range of -10 to 55 C and long-term stability of 0.3% FSR per year or better make it a practical choice for machine builders who fit sensors in volume.
