Dharampur is a hilly taluka town in Valsad district with a small GIDC estate and an economy built mostly on farming, mango and cashew orchards and forest produce. Its biggest engineered systems are the water supply schemes that lift water from the Madhuban dam up to the villages of Dharampur and Kaprada through a chain of pumping stations. RB Automation Private Limited, based in Ahmedabad, supplies the drives, controllers and instruments used in this kind of work.

Dharampur's users are mostly pumping stations, farms and a handful of small units. We supply AC drives (VFD), pressure transmitters, level transmitters, flow meters and PLCs for water supply and irrigation pumping between the Madhuban dam, Dharampur, Kaprada and Nanapondha, small PLCs and stepper systems to the units at Dharampur GIDC, and drives and instruments to fruit and cashew processors in the hills towards Wilson Hills and down to Valsad.

RB Automation also supplies industrial automation products in Valsad, Vapi, Chikhli, Navsari and Saputara.

For pumping stations and village water schemes we supply AC drives, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and flow meters, and we build PLC control panels for pump sequencing.
