The Frecon FR01 is a compact smart inverter (VFD) with a book-type narrow body for AC motor speed control. It is offered in single-phase 220V models from 0.4 to 4.0 kW and three-phase 380V models up to 7.5 kW. It is compatible with standard rail installation and can be mounted side by side at zero distance to save panel space.
The FR01 offers V/F control and two sensorless vector control modes, with an output frequency of 0 to 600 Hz. Speed range reaches 1:200 in sensorless vector control 2, torque response is under 10 ms in vector mode, and starting torque is 150% at 0.25 Hz. Overload capacity is 150% for 60 s, 180% for 10 s and 200% for 1 s.
