Integrated Stepper Motor overview

The IR/IT series is an intelligent integrated stepper motor launched by Rtelligent. The existing products cover 42mm-86mm base motor. It not only supports external pulse and communication control, but also can achieve motion control through internal self-programming.

  • Pulse control methods: pulse + direction, double pulse, orthogonal pulse
  • Communication control mode: RS485/EtherCAT/CANopen
  • Communication Settings: 5-digit dip code - 31 axis addresses;2-di it di code -4 baud rates
  • Motion direction setting: A I-digit dip code is used to set the motor's running direction
  • Control signal: 5V or 24V single-ended input, common anode connection method

The IR/IT series is an intelligent integrated stepper motor from Rtelligent, built as a three-in-one unit with motor, encoder and driver. IR models are the integral open-loop series and IT models the integral closed-loop series, with current products covering 42 mm to 86 mm base motors. Besides external pulse and communication control, it can run motion through internal self-programming.

Pulse control can be pulse plus direction, double pulse or orthogonal pulse, using 5V or 24V single-ended inputs with a common anode connection. For communication control you can choose Modbus RS485, EtherCAT or CANopen. DIP switches set up to 31 axis addresses, 4 baud rates and the motor running direction.

Listed IT models include IT42AM04, IT42AM06 and IT42AM08 at 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 N·m on 12 to 24V DC; ITD57 and IT60 versions at 3.0 and 4.0 N·m, with the IT60 on 18 to 50V DC; and IT86AM45, IT86AM85 and IT86AM120 at 4.5, 8.5 and 12.0 N·m. Shaft options are single flat, keyed and plain.
