Switching Stepper Driver Series R60IOS: Technical Overview
Featuring built-in S-curve acceleration/deceleration pulse generation, this driver requires only simple ON/OFF switch signals to control motor start/stop. Compared to speed-regulation motors, the IO Series offers.
- Smoother acceleration and braking (reduced mechanical shock)
- More consistent speed control (eliminates step loss at low speed)
- Simplified electrical design for engineers
- Low-speed vibration suppression algorithm
- Sensorless stall detection (no additional hardware required)
- Phase-loss alarm function
- Isolated 5V/24V control signal interfaces
- Three pulse command modes:
Pulse + Direction
Dual-pulse (CW/CCW)
Quadrature (A/B phase) pulse
